Outside Seyda Neen: Mara's Temple? (spoilers)

Post by fable »

I'm playing Morrowind for the second time--my first was when it initially appeared. I've got Tribunal and Bloodmoon installed, and added a few mods.

Outside Seyda Neen, I noticed a temple to Mara, and entered. There, a priestess offered me a quest, which I accepted. I entered the shrine, touched an image of a ship, and was immediately transported onto a ship where I was attacked by several people.

Now, none of this was in the original Morrowind. I am trying to ascertain 1) where this all came from, and 2) whether it's functioning correctly. Your answers can help me in this regard, and I'd appreciate that:

1) Was the quest (and the temple of Mara) I described in Tribunal? In Bloodmoon?

2) When you appeared on the ship, assuming you accepted this quest, were you immediately attacked?

Thanks, in advance. :)

Yes, that's it! I just ran a novice all the way up to Balmora, and find another shrine with similar results (if achieved differently). The mods are a bit strange--imaginatively built, beautiful visually, but the documentation gives absolutely no idea that each mod has more than just a new set of armor to offer. Thanks. :)
