Question About Aerie
Question About Aerie
ok i started a multiplayer game so i can play single player with me and my freinds pc
i am a kensai/rogue, to do the traps n locks
he is a stalker/cleric, he hates undead so uses his ranger and cleric skills towards smiting them
i wanted to romance Aerie but because of this i think it is a waste to have Aerie be multiclassed to cleric/mage. will it screw anything up if i use SK to make her a pure mage?

Romance-wise, you would probably be fine. But think about all the priest-spell-in-chain-contingency cheese you'll be missing...
BTW, you can probably make Aerie a paladin and the game won't really care

~~ aim low, deliver.
I have modified most of the NPCs without any ill effects. Some examples:
Imoen - Swashbuckler, Thief dualled to Conjurer, Swashbuckler dualled to Mage
Minsc - Barbarian, Berserker
Aerie - Illusionist
Nalia - Conjurer
Haer'Dalis - Swashbuckler
Jan - Illusionist
Edwin - Sorcerer
Anomen - 9th Level Berserker dualled to Cleric
Valygar - Wizard Slayer
Mazzy - Archer, Cavalier
The best way to change an NPC's class is to set his/her Level to 0, change to the appropriate class, and remove all spells, "Affects", and special abilities. You should also change the Hit Points to 1 so they won't end up with a bunch of extra Hit Points. (You can subtract the extra 1 HP later.) When you load the game, the NPC will level up (depending on how many experience points you assigned) and gain all of the special abilities and so forth he/she is supposed to have. Going from Level 0 to 1st Level is the critical part.
If you want to make sure that the NPC is exactly the way he/she should be, you can create a "dummy" character of the same class and compare the NPC to it with Shadowkeeper. My "dummies" have served me very well.

well, as far as i know, no mods allows that to happen...but some mods in gibberlings3.net which allows kitting of anomen, nalia and imoen might do that...i haven't been keeping track...

Well..
Just download Bun-bun and modify her portrait, etc. that should do it - well, she's a plate-wearing Kensai/Soceror/Cleric/Druid, really, but it's child play to give her rages - like she needs them

Re: Well..
i really should update my uploads...never included the custom druid and cleric spells...or vondu's rest innate ability...
but seriously, my newest version, the one i use for beta testing mods, is just too embarressing..
somthing, just run a forum search for bun-bun...i think the sorceress kensai versions are still around...and those versions are already immune to charm, imprison, maze, poison, timestop, wing buffet, and any serious fun playing the game...

how do u make them have 2 kits?
SK doesnt let me...
"War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left"
Well..
You can add one kit by the conventional means if you like - to add the other special abilities, the easiest way is to gen up a character (or use an NPC) of that class and "cut and paste" the special abilities in SK.

Re: Well..
exactly.
a 40th level kensai is created by kai, and 27 lines in the affects tab that copy and pasted to anyone, even nalia, will make her into a kensai, with thac0 around -20, +13 to damage with every hit, and a natural ac around 2...
you can make aerie into a cleric of talos+lathander by making her into a cleric of lathander, and adding storm shield and lightning bolt innate spell.
etc....

so how do you make a fighter/sorc/cleric?
well, you really can't...
but you can edit using near infinity some cleric spells/druid spells like sunray and assign to a kensai sorcerer...
a sorc with chain contingency full of nature's beauty, and sunrays is evil...
