Turn Based Games

Post by Antoine »

Greetings all! First time poster here.

I'm almost finished this game and I had a blast. I'm not well versed on D&D rules (any version really) so the learning curve was a bit hard, but I’m having tons of fun. I’m sure I could have chosen better party mixes, feats and skills etc, but the game doesn’t seem to be penalizing me to much for lack of knowledge. So far, no matter what I’ve chosen, seems to be pretty much “all good”. My kinda game.

I enjoy the turn based combat games; I like to watch whats going on during battles. Anywho, I've done Fallout2, Betrayal at Krondor, PoR2 and this one. Looking for comments on other turn based combat games I might enjoy also.

Ps: to the development folks – cheers to a nice twist on the Nulb Quest for Betram.

Antoine, welcome to the forums! I hope you'll enjoy your time spent here.

That said, consider posting these comments under the Game Discussions, forum. It properly belongs there, and might net you more comments. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Try Wizardry 8 if you don't have it already.

The turns are more their side all at once then your side all at once (or vice versa) instead of each character/creature on each turn, but it's still a good game.
