I want a mod like this....

Post by duppsko »

Ok, this might sounds pretty stupid to many.....

I've tried playing MW but i thought it was to much conversations in the game. And by that i mean the same questions you can ask everyone in the game. Everybody just keeps repeating themself....
It's too many topics to choose when talking to an NPC.
I have to note that i've only played the game running around in two citys or so....

Is there any MODS that can change this?

thanks....

Hey, Duppsko. Welcome to the forums. :)

There are a couple of mods out there that add unique content to more NPCs. You might look at Morrowind Summit or one of the others for the Balmora, Ascadian Isles Dialogue mod. The copy I have is BalmoraAscadianIslesNPC_0715.zip. It's done by Brother Juniper, who also did a fine new faction mod called The Twin Lamps.

The BAID mod isn't complete, but it does add some new and interesting content. The problem is, the community really hasn't been much interested in modding dialog, as much as modding visuals and quests. Still, that's the only one currently available. Hope it helps. I like it quite well.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Hey, the first time I heard of that one! Thanks!!!

Another mod which adds more personality to NPCs ( unfortunately only to Seyda Neen's NPCs) is "Less Generic NPC Project, Seyda Neen". The only download-link I could find is THIS one.
The mod adds some new NPCs, adds some dialogues to the old ones ( now they tell you unique stuff about their job, life in Seyda Neen, and so on) and a little quests ( a cute love-story). Really, not many changes but the result is breathtaking! And...ehm...it's only roleplaying. You won't get any weapons or money by doing the quest nor will you improve your skills with it...

Yes, got that one, too. However, it was kinda old, and I was under the impression you could no longer acquire it. If you've got it, that's great. I enjoy it. :)

I had to use google quite excessively to find the link ;)
Maybe someone should contact the creator...maybe that "someone" should be me...

Another mod ida which I would like, is that you could equip two short swords at once. Would be pretty cool, I think. Well, just an idea.

(PS, duppsko, du heter vel ikke tilfeldigvis Daniel til fornavn? )

hehe, such a mod also already exists ;)
Dual Wielding. The problem about that mod is that it's only possible to block with the second weapon...

Guys--the site owner insists on all content being in English, and non-spam (unless in the Speak Your Mind forum.) Sorry, but let's keep it open to everybody here, okay? Thanks. :)

That's all good, fable, but let me at least give a shoutout to my fellow countrymen from across the pond in the US...

Heia norge! Jeg ante ikke at det var noen andre nordmenn her... :D

All right, I'll stop now...
