Those CLAU code things...

Post by Jess »

This is a ToB question, but this place gets more traffic :)
I neglected to pick up the white dragon scales on the 3rd level of watchers keep, and it was quite a lot of game time until I found out that they were in that room... now, when I popped back to get them, there was nothing there. Either they've done that 'items on the ground may disappear after a few days' thing, or they're really well hidden. If it's the former, could anybody tell me how you do the thing where you type in a code to make an item appear? And the code for the scales, if anyone has that :)

Well..

You need
Debug Mode = 1

in your Baldur.ini file.

Hit CTRL-ENTER in game to access the prompt, then
CLUAconsole:CreateItem("XXXXXX",#)

where XXXXXXX is the item's code and # is the (optional) number - just skip the comma and number if you only want one.

If you have Shadowkeeper, you can just look the item code up in there - and even edit saved games to add it (and other items in). There's a goog general summary of codes
Here the code for the item you want is
COMPON18 - White Dragon Scales

A complet list of item codes may be found
Here

Good luck!
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

Yes, SoA does, but that wasn't the forum for this thread, so I moved it. And since I haven't got much time for this kind of playing around, next time you do that kind of thing, I'll delete it. Fair warning.
