Having some problems with disarm. It doesn't seem to work on some people, but it doesn't say that it doesn't work.
First you can attempt a disarm on people with no weapon but you get significant negatives to the roll and nothing happens if you succeed. (this sort of makes sense so is not a problem)
some creatures, (skeletons come to mind) clearly have weapons and you can try to disarm them but when you get a hit nothing happens, it doesn't say disarm resisted, but they still have the weapon. Also disarming them again gets you the same bonuses to the roll, so it doesn't seem to be just a visual problem.
Also some specific characters seem to be immune to this, the two that I have noticed are the ghoul ravager in the basement to the green griffon inn who has a two bladed sword that he refuses to drop and the minataur prisoner with some sort of golden warhammer, In both cases I have hit with an attempted disarm, and it doesn't say disarm resisted but they still have the weapon.
Its driving me bats**t help anyone
Disarm question
I don't know why its not working (maybe Immunity: Criticals is to blame?) but if you disarm an opponent unarmed you are meant (according to PHB 3.0) to get their weaponin your hands, though it's probably different for NWN.
"Heya! Have you been to Baldur's Gate? I've been to Baldur's Gate... Oops, stepped into something. Have you stepped into something?"
Also its definatley not immunity to criticals because I can disarm the zombie lords twice (one for each sickle) and sombie warriors of their clubs or sickles
hmm
If someone has two weapons and you disarm them, which weapon to they lose? and If you disarm monsters ie zombie lord with two weapons do they lose the offhand attack? I have to admit ive never noticed
