Spoiler!! HOU - Question Mirror

Post by Warlin »

Hi

I encounterd a bit of a problem in Itthilid city. I made a deal with the Elder Brain about delevering the Mirror from "The strange Island".

I ported back to the Drow city, got the Mirror and gated back again (With the Reaper), only now i couldnt port back down into the halls of the Elder Brain??

Is there some Bug around there, or did i forget something?

I solved the problem by killing some more drow, then i could port back down.. But that resulted in the Elder brain abandoning the deal, and the only choice the game gave me was to make goo of him??

Was the only quest i lost, and the consequence is not so bad..

Did you try and 'Port down without speaking to one of the chaps outside? I'm presuming not, and I must stress I am about to do this quest myself. However, it sounds like you always have to remove your helmet before seeing the Big Brain, and you'd have to give your helmet to the guard you first talked to. DON'T kill anyone unless you absolutely have to, "the quest stands on the edge of a knife" and if you go around chopping people into smoosh, the Brain won't trust you.

I need to get out more.......

well, my alignment is good, and ithillid is evil, so I actually went into the city without the helmet, but with my Golden Circle (immune to Mind-attacks) and kinda cleared the city : The only one I left alive was the brain, and the guys wathing the slavefights...
