So you need to install some file for the upgrades? Is it released by the bioware or black isle?
But sometimes i think this is a kind of cheating, because after the upgrades items become too powerful and they may disturb the balance.(no i m not a druid kind :p )In fact they can be very handy because i have some problems with defeating drizzt and his friends but i don't like power-play.
Anyway a bunch of thanks to everyone.

It's an unofficial mod made by weido.org and is not supported by bioware or black-isle. And yes it's horribly unbalanced and would probably ruin the game on its own. Unless you also install ascention/tactics mods which make the game a lot harder I'd recommend against installing ItemUpgrade
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

i find some of the item upgrade mod to be not that unbalanced. for example, Valygar always ends up wearing shadow dragon armour, because it's the best armour his class can use. so the improved corthola armour is the best of both worlds :D

i do agree that making CF+5 is a bit overblown though.
