How much memory have you got?

Post by fable »

Just wondered. I'm running 256 MB RAM, and it's definitely not proving enough for all the mods I've added. I'd planned an upgrade anyway, but it looks like that may be coming early.

Every two minutes? I wonder why that's happening.

I have 256 myself, and I'm definitely thinking of acquiring more for the same reason, perhaps with a new graphics card....

It sucks, it think it's because I have a ****ed up coppied version. I hate it when it crashes, most of the time I don't start it over again, and wait a cople of hours before I feel like playing it again.

512. But I have problems running MW smooth with mods and everything.
I think 256 is too little. U must upgrade :)
Offcoruse RAM isn't everything. Grafikcard must also be "up to date"...

I've got an AMD athlon 1800XP+, as well as an ATI Radeon 9600 and 512MB DDR Ram, yet Solsheim still goes very laggy, and the game is sometimes a bit laggy (full graphics and draw distance)

Im considering getting a 1024 RAM. I know its a lot but I wont have to worry about anything not having enough RAM.

I only have 512 as well, with a Radeon 9600 pro. And a 2.6 gig P4. And Solsteim is still slow.

I need more power. Especially when Doom 3 comes out. Damn that's a pretty looking game.

512.0 MB RAM with NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 440, no PC gaming
What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love

I have 1024 RAM and it runs very smoothly...until it crashes, which is frequently. I think I have a conflict somewhere. I'm thinking about going back to XP instead of win2000. Not sure if thats the problem though.

Well despite my meagre RAM (256), slow loads and the age of my computer, the game does not crash very often, and I suspect this might be related to the fact that I run Win XP (professional edition).
