So, I sided with Falco, not a tough call. Anyway, I killed the stupid Spriggans, poisoned the roots, and recruited 2 guards. Now what? It said that it'd take several days to train them, so I waited. And waited. And waited some more. I've waited over 15 days and have gotten no message to go back to Falco. Is it just that I'm dumb and the journal doesn't update? Or does he just take a helluva long time to outfit the guards?

Try crossing over to Vvardenfell. Sometimes in Sostheim it seems like things don't update until you leave. If I'm wrong, that's a tip from my husband, not me.

Hmm... You may want to try speaking with Falco again, if you haven't already. Sometimes you need to initiate a dialog to get him to acknowledge your actions. This has happened with me several times.

I don't remember always getting a message in my journal to go back to Falco.... I think you should head back and check on him. He might be in trouble! Hurry!

I got it. I just had to leave the colony site, then my journal got updated.
