spring Attack Question

My honey requested me to ask you guys this question.

He picked Spring Attack for his fighter as a feat. He doesnt know how to use this.

He asked me and I never chose this feat before. Anyone know?

with spring attack you *should* be able to move attack and move on without any AoO...

...but it seems to be bugged...

...but you will need spring attack as prequisite for whirlwind which is great with a reach weapon !

Go stand next to an enemy, select "single attack" from the radial menu, click enemy, and walk away from him. I don't know if there's a way which involves less clicking.
