Un/re installation problems

Post by Tiax_Rules_ALL »

Anyways, after installing a mod which messed up my game, and then being unable to fully delete it, I tried to uninstall the game. But whenever I try, it just brings up one of those god damn flashinglight things saying "searching for setup.exe". I deleted all the files, but when I put the cd in, it won't give me the option of playing. Apparently it still thinks I have this game installed, and I can't play or uninstall! Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Using regedit, search for all instances in your registry of Baldur, and delete 'em. But first, do a backup of your registry, just in case something goes wrong.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Here you can find RegCleaner which can probably help solve your problem. It's safe to use, just don't forget to use the back-up options.
