Would you like a mod which adds another skill to the magic-system? It wouldn't be real magic though - telepathy.
Some spells ( let's call them 'orders') would force the target to jump, drop the weapon, confuse it, push it back, ...
Alright, nothing special, but combine it with real magic. Think of raising the targets acrobatic attribute to 1000 and then use the order 'Jump'...
Or use the order 'Push' when the target's near some cliffs...
To be more concrete, here are some orders I thought of:
- force the target to jump
- push the target a couple of steps back
- read an NPC's mind ( the PC would have a bonus on speechcraft while dealing with that NPC)
- force the target to drop it's weapon
- confuse the target ( harder to cast spells)
- telekinese ( yes, it would fit better to telepathy)
- force the target to turn hostile towards other creatures and/or NPCs ( rat-fights
- cause addiction to moon sugar... ( => merchants will buy that sweet stuff)
- use random spell ( just for the f...un of it)
- force to take off clothes and armor ( I'm still male, you know...)
The problem would be, that some of that would be somehow overpowering. Maybe it would be wise to put high willpower ( about 70?) on the requirements-list, and much ca$h. And it should drain fatigue as well as magicka. The targets willpower should be of importance, too...
The skill would start with 0 and it would raise very rapidly - but the first 15 levels or so should only be able to be achieved by 'training'.
What do you think of it? I don't know, if it is possible and I don't know how to pack these ideas into a mod, but I think it shouldn't be impossible. Any further ideas?
