I know this subject has been done to death and I have been doing searches about it. Still, I'd like other people's input.

I've taken a solo f/m/t through BG1 and although that was fun I would like to play a different multiclass pc in BG2.
What would you go for? And why?

Soloing a fighter/mage/cleric would lead to a very powerful character, but the early days I'd imagine would be hell. :D

Use a Cleric/Thief with Tiax's portrait and soundest, but not necessarily his stats cause IIRC they sucked. That would make for a good character. And gnomes are just too much fun. Just think of it as playing a Cleric of Mask.

A cleric/thief gives you a very different playing experience. I did it once and used SK to give him the assassinkit. It was my evillest pc yet.
It is very annoying that the thieving button is behind the special abilities button, though. ;)
