Yah, that's kinda been my solution too. I did get jumped anyway one time, at the top of one of the St. Something sections of Vivec by an ordinator and some commoner or thief (I might've accidentally hit the commoner while swinging at the ordinator :-( ). You don't end up with a bounty on your head since they jump you, but I still feel kinda bad about, you know, killing good guys (not bad enough to give back their sacred armor!).
So anyway, I had a set of robes enchanted with a bunch a constant effect Sanctuary and wear that without the armor when I'm in towns. I haven't tried talking to an ordinator while just carrying the armor yet, so I don't know fer sure it'll work .
So I have travelled throughout the land and was a pilgrim all my life, alone and a stranger feeling alien. Then Thou hast made grow in my Thine Art under the breath of the terrible storm in me.

It's true, light armor and heavy armor are both better then medium. They have more armor rating and have higher enchant points. I can't figure out why medium is weaker then light. Only use I can think for it is to look cool, if it's your fav armor. I personally like daedric, then I enchant fortify str on the pieces, so that it cancels out the weight it costs to carry it. Also I get to do extra attack damage with all that extra str.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Thanks for clearing that up. Part of the reason my rating with Indoril armor is so high is probably just due to my high Medium Armor rating, right?
I'm getting frustrated by the Indoril armor anyway. Some people say they can waltz through the game wearing it no problem. I get chased all over Vivec by ordinators. Next time through I'll probably go with light armor 'til I can afford to enchant the daedric stuff.

yes, royal guard armor is medium. I don't detest it, it's not horrible, though I agree with most other members and MUCH prefer light armor (even though I think the glass helm looks ridiculous) And hot pink??? I think not, my good man! The color must be off on your monitor; it is LIGHT RED. Kind of like a big cooked lobster running around.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!

What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love

Dragonbone Cuirass
The curaiss youre looking for can be found Southwest of Ebonheart in Sudan (or Mudan or seomthing) grotto. Its VERY far.. the last island to the Southwest on the in-game map. NOTE: before you go into the grotto make sure you get some water breathing spells or potions (youll need them) AND a scroll, spell or lockpick that can open a 100 lvl lock. Once inside explore until you find the "Lost Dwemer Checkpoint" and soon youll find a place where you can get out of the water. Inside the same room, will be a Dwemer Dresser that has the 100 lock. Open in and inside will be the Dragon Bone Cuirass (333 heavy armor, and 100% resistance to fire)

hey crimson you should try "her" armor which is found on Silas Solvo (spelling may not be right, but he's in Godsreach or the Plaza) he'll be wearing a better version of the high ordinator armor AND ITS ALL ENCHANTED!!! And dont worry about killing him.... You'll eventually kill him in the main Tribunal quest.

Hiro lol i totally agree with youre post about the "look cool" armor. Try this: Mosque of Vile Cloviticus, Daedric Right Gauntlet, Wraithguard, Daedric Greaves, the Dragon Bone Cuirass, and the Ten Pace Boots.
Trust me, wearing this stuff will MAJORLY help youre armor rating (if youre speciallty is heavy) and you'll look F***ing awesome wearing it.

Okay, There are a LOT of things that need to be settled here. So I'll go with the list style.
1. Medium armor is not weaker than light armor, you guys just haven't found good medium armor.
2. On that note, Stahlrim is the best medium armor, not Indoril.
3. Daedric armor is heavy, not medium.
4. Royal armor is pink. It has always been pink, and until a mod comes out, it will always be pink.
5. Adamantium is heavy armor.
6. The legendary light armor pieces:
Cuirass of the Savior's hide
Boots of Blinding speed (Defense sucks, but incredible enchantment. +200 speed with easily neutralized ill effect.)
Legendary Medium Armor: Ebony Mail
Legendary heavy: Lord's Mail, Dragonbone cuirass.
Both are good, depending on what enchantment you want.
And as for looking cool, try this out and see how awesome you end up:
Lord's Mail
Ebony Closed Helm
Glass Pauldrons
Glass Greaves
Wraithguard
The left Fist of Randgalf, or Wraithguard 2.
Boots of Blinding speed.

False, check it yourself.5. Adamantium is heavy armor.
And I believe that Royal Guard is the best medium armour.
The evil nature of GameBanshee revealed below!
GameBanshee sells Xandax to make ends meet
Then, as if that was not enough, they decide to get rid of me via sweepstakes as well

Surely which armour is best is down to personal preference. As I've never had Royal Guard or Stahlrim armour I can't comment on which is best. I do however think Glass Armour is the best light armour. I also can't stand the closed ebony helm purely cos of how it looks lol. My favourite heavy armour cuirass (and thus the best in my opinion) is ebony.
