I bought my KOTOR used, without a manual, and subsequently don't know how to do simple things like UPGRADE! I go to the workbench, I pull up the upgradeable items, then I click on my upgrades, hear a wrenching sound, but still have the items in my inventory. I click back, and 1 item (armor upgrade, for the republic mod armor) is available. I hit upgrade, hear the wrenching sound, go back, and it's not there. But if I click on it, it's there again!!!! and around and around I go! When do I need to stop.
Isn't there a confirm button (or something like it) on the upgrade panel? You have to press that to actually instigate the change.

That's the one. It isn't simply necessary to switch out parts. You have to assembly the results, for the switch to take place.

I think I got it figured out. Seems like it could be a little clearer tho, especially as some items modify characteristics that are not seen until you scroll down on the item.
Thanks again!
