Mage Stronghold Quest Problem

I am afraid I may have killed Argrim early on in the game and now I cannot complete the Mage Stronghold quest. I get asked to return to the sphere and when I do it appears that people are going to show up but no one does and Teos has nothing to say to me after that. Is there anyway I can reset Argrim and his goons without restarting the game? If I go to the city gates there is nobody upstairs in the inn.

@ sackamanothebob, I'm sorry, I dont unterstood what you want... I meah, have you killed the guy too early? Cant you clua him?

I guess I didn't kill him before. I tried Cluaing him and that didn't work. I even cluaed the rune of imprisment and tried to zap him with it but it would not work either.
