Is there a difference between Core Rules or Normal difficulty, other than hit point rolls and learning spells automatically? Cause it seems people are dying left and right here, Yoshimo just chunked a Copper Coronet guard with 25 hps.. Doesn't seem right.
I've got 4 guys in my party, level 8-9, and Yoshimo at 11. Still, it seems way too easy :\

One thing about the difficulty settings that is prevalent in this series: experience stratification. 'Core Rules' difficulty awards more experience than normal mode, so expect a little more bang for your buck.
However, you should expect some more damage dealt to your characters as well, so prepare to have some more healing and protection/buff spells available at your disposal. Since your characters do loose out on some experience when they die, you may wish to keep them alive at all costs.

Well, yeah. That's not what I meant though
I meant my guys were killing the enemy way faster than I expected. I haven't played for a few years, so I can't really remember how tough these guys were supposed to be. 24 hps seemed a bit weak, but whatever.
The description for difficulty level didn't mention anything about enemy hps either, so yeah... Nevermind.
I'll go stand in the corner.
