Dantooine is HERKYJERCKY

I've played the game set on moderate graphics levels, high graphics, 1024x , shadows, grass, AAx2, anistropy x 2, with good results on my P4 2.4, 766mbram, ATI 9600 xt 256mb UNTIL I got to Dantooine, and I can't set the levels low enough. I lurch, lunge, and lag all around!! Is there a patch for this, or do I just need to spend 3000 on a new computer?

get yourself patch 1.03 if you havent and also i think the 9600XT models generally lags quite a bit on Kotor.

Unfortunately, I've got the patch. I don't know why the card is so bad on Dantooine.

I have a 9800 Pro and have the same problem... It's annoying

. Does kotor run in direct3d?

try running Kotor on 800x600 resolution with everything on highest, ie Anti-aliasing and Antistrophic filtering and it will look much better than anything on higher resolutions with less performance hit

9800

I hoped the problem was limited to the 9600, so I traded it for a 9800pro. Same deal. It wasn't that bad though, and I just played through. The 9800 is doing great elsewhere in the game, even on the Dune Sea on Tatooine. If I go back to Dantooine, I'll try the settings recommended.

I have a 9800 Pro 256 and it didn't seem to lag that much. If it did It wasn't enough to get my attention. The laggiest spot for some reason.. was the Tarsis Cantina at 1024 X_____.
