Really bored, need some input

Post by EternalKnight »

Hey, can you believe it? I still haven't finished SoA but I want to start a solo character anyways to make things interesting and I want to do it with an unorthodox character. What do you guys suggest? I'm open to just about everything and I don't want to finish the game right now with a party, I think it'd make it more challenging with a solo! Well, thanks for the input

try something fun.
Like assassin or avenger druid. Those are the 2 most fun classes in my opinion.

Try to solo a single class wizard slayer, avenger or a beast master. These should be quit challenging :) .

If you like walking around invisible all the time and killing everything in one blow, then Assassin is for you.

If you like magic, you could try Cleric/Mage (dual or multi).

If you like really versatile characters, try Ranger/Cleric, Swashbuckler/Cleric or Swashbuckler/Mage.

Although I haven't tried it myself, I bet the Swashbuckler would be a really fun class to solo with.

Uhmm...

Wizard Slayer-Mage? Would be "fun" if he couldn't even use scrolls...

Beastmaster-Cleric should also be original.

Halfling Berserker would certainly be a novelty. :D

be a thief! they make decent fighters too, along with all the nice abilities they got, also duel to a mage, or somehow get these spells so you won't be permanantly screwed:

Zone of sweet air
dispel magic
breach
True sight

and later on, in TOB, make sure to get spellstrike.

have fun!

Ok, cool guys. Hey, I want to do a no reloads no saves with an original character, have started with a Swashbuckler, it's hard, they can't hit worth anything! I have swing for like 5 min, and it's really hard with out spells to memorize (easy experience).

A pure swashbuckler would be cool all the way to the end of ToB.

The use any item would allow you to cast spells :) Who needs spellcasters? :D
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.
