genoharadan quests

hello all, i enjoy perusing your site.

**the following could be considered spoiler material;

i have browsed the walkthrough and it makes brief mention about zulaan sentar, a bounty debt on dantooine that hulas (genoharadan) asks you to collect on. i believe hulas also issues a couple of more bounty debts with the agreement that collecting on said debts would result in an intiation into the genoharadan guild.

problem is, shortly after receiving these tasks from hulas, i find out that dantooine has been destroyed by malaak. obviously i am guilty of skipping some sort of story trigger that will allow me to complete the zulan task while dantooine still exists. hulas makes no mention of the fact dantooine is no more when i speak with him, and seems to encourage me to continue to complete the quest, even though putting around the galaxy looking for dantooine is no longer an option.

so i wonder, is zulan considered dead? and therefore a completed task - since he, along with dantooine, is no more? yet my journal entry still lists zulan as a viable quest...

also, is it still possible to complete the genoharadan tasks without collecting on zulan? i believe he is the only bounty that resides on a non-existant planet, so it is possible to complete the other outstanding tasks - but is it enough?

while were at it, is it even worth completing the genoharadan tasks? i usually like to try everything in the game atleast once, but i ask in this case because the 'planet jumping' required seems to be particularilly time consuming. if completing the quests will result in some decent dialogue, then i am all for it, but sorry, a shiny new genoharadan sword wont cut it - atleast not like a lightsaber would.

You cant collect the bounty on Zulan, but you can still complete the genoharadan quests. And it's worth to complete it.

before you get 4th star map, don't tough it just yet, go to dantooine first so you can find and kill Zulan first, I do that my self. With Zulan dead, you can collect bounty, then you can now get 4th star map.

thanks for your responses,

i got home last night and decided to putz around. ended up checking out the dune sea and found vorn daasraad, one of the genoharadan bounties. after liquidating his behind i got bold and ventured to kashyyyk where i found rulan prolak, the shapeshifter. working him over was fun, for the variety alone. then back to the dune sea for the final showdown with the corrupt hulas. the battle was more intense than expected as hulas brought out all of his buds. still, not much of a problem for a young jedi master like myself.

so after a buttload of DS points, a lot of frequent flyer miles, EXP points and a few nifty items (gernoharadan visor, mesh, etc) do i assume that this quest (the genoharadan quest) is over with? is there anyway to actually join the genoharadan? without rulan, does it even exist?

anyhow, thanks again for the feedback.
