experience points stopped!!

any ideas on what happens when your experience points stop at 89000??mine have and im in balders gate and cant get new spells or more hit points!!any help??

It sounds like you have reached the experience points cap, so you can't gain any more experience.
Unless you invest in the "Tales of the Sword Cost" expansion, which raises the cap to 161,000 or find an experience cap remover (which I don't know where to find, but try checking/searching the threads in this forum for information).

thank you its bin doing my head in!!ive actually got the expansion as part of the first game ill install it and see what happens!i didnt think there was a limit to how many points u can get anyway thanks again.lee

Just a note - if you install an EXP cap remover, then you risk experiencing a much easier game, because the game balance isn't made for terrible high level characters.
