Darkflame = DF, basically vile women that use men as slaves. DF stands for Dark Flame

It refers to a group of us who ended up collaboratively working on a story that effectively took off in a thread about the Anomen romance in the SoA Forum. The Order of the Dark Flame title was inspired by one of Anomen's dialogue lines
