How much of a purist are you?
When members of your party are killed, do you reload from previous save, or do you res them?
I res them all the time with the exception of when a monster completely destroys them, like poor Branwen, who took a natural 20 from a flesh golem...little Branwen pieces everywhere...in that case, I will go to last save.
Just curious as to who else plays this way///

In the first Baldur's Gate, I always fall back to a saved game, partly because I never bother to get a scroll of ressurrection, and partly because I tend to forget that Jaheira can even use it. In SoA and ToB, I always ressurrect them because Jaheira is at a high enough level to where she can just memorize it, and I don't have to worry about scrolls.
I wanted to change my sig, but I can't think of anything to change it to

It depends, most of the times i reload. Later in BG2 you have acces to more scrolls/wands/spells or resurection, then i use them in most of the cases.
My biggest problem is their equipment, i usually cant cary it back to the temple to raise their body.

I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
If a battle has gone badly, I usually reload, just because I want to have a "perfect battle". (That's assuming that I'm replaying a game for the nth time.)
Sometimes I do try to play a "pure" game so that it will feel more real. When that's the case, I avoid reloading. But I agree with Stilgar: if I don't have room for a dead party member's equipment, I reload. I hate having to deal with inventory problems, which ruin the fun.

I decide that before I start a game. It's mostly an RP decision for me. Now, this last run I just played I figured if a party member died and they were beyond ressurection then that was the end of them for me. When Imoen died and was beyong all means of ressurection, much to my dismay, I picked up Alora afterwards to move on.

I agree with them, in BG1, i just reload, mostly cause i never carry scrolls and i dont feel like lugging all their gear back to town cause its usually my melee guys who die from being low lvl tanks and wearin HEAVY equipment hehe.

Nice.
Well, I recommend playing as a purist, if I might say so. The challenge is just thrilling, what can I say. The other day, Imoen bought it. No problem, I'll head back to Nashkel, get her breathing again. On the way, Jaheira and Khalid buy the farm. Crikey!! Will I make it? Dread wolfs on my heels!! Get the lead out Xan! We gotta lose those dwarf eating furries before I'm breakfast, lunch and dinner!
We make it. Sighs of relief all around. True, I spend all my retirement resurrecting the blokes, but hey, wouldn't you do the same??
Well, would you??

Oh, sorry about that, got lost in a movie there.
I'm glad you see things the purist way! "Be healed my brother! Be healed!"
RPG's are colossal wastes of time if you scam and cheat the system. I can't see what fun it is to plow through what are supposed to be epic adventures with character edits...
Reloading is ok, but in moderation. Not to sound cliche, but keep it real
