If I could live in any Forgotten Realms city, I believe I would choose Evermeet. I would love to be around elves, and the island seems so mystical. It would be an ideal place to live, if it existed.

I would have to say either Silverymoon or Waterdeep. The weather in those cities sound to my liking, and many of my favorite character classes belong to those regions.

If not those, then I would have to say one of the towns in the famous region of the North.

I'm going to be terrible and say Amn. Join the thieves guild run around in the shadows taking the odd purse or the odd life.

I'd probably go with Waterdeep, as it sounds like a nice enough city to ply your trade, well.....its atleast of a comparable standard to the others.
From "Feet of Clay" By Terry Pratchett:
"It seemed to be a chronic disease. It was as if even the most intelligent person had this little blank spot in their heads where someone had written: "Kings. What a good idea." Whoever had created humanity had left in a major design flaw. It was its tendency to bend at the knees.

Hm...not sure, maybe some island off the Sword Coast where I'd just lay on some net and drink from exotic fruits, being a retired pirate (of course). Menzoberranzan, home of the drow, sounds like an interesting place to live too, if I had infravision that is. All those different faery colors outlining the buildings, and the House wars would be just way too cool to watch.

I hardly believe that you would find Menzoberranzan an interesting place to live, especially not if you're a male :D

I'd live in Candlekeep, probably. It's small, not too many people, but enough to where I wouldn't really get lonely, at least not often. And books. Tons and tons of books. It would take a lifetime, or longer, to read them all.
I wanted to change my sig, but I can't think of anything to change it to :(

Drow women are hot man! :D Sure, I'd have to be the submissive male type, but I wouldn't mind doing the cooking while drow hottie does the bossing if at the end of the night I get myself a piece of ebony drow ass :D

-cough-

Still, it's a unique city to live in, if you have to somewhat watch your back every time you cross a street. Ok, let me rephrase. I'd live in Menzoberranzan if I had enough power to survive there. Level nine wizardly spells would do.

This may sound sick, but I don't think I would have felt such pity on myself if I was raped by a drow-woman :D

Halaster's domain is the Undermountain. By the sound of him in both the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and Ed Greenwood's book 'Elminster in Hell,' he sounds as if he'll just make people as insane as he is, if not dead.

Yes, to be an insane person, Halaster i quite powerfull. IMO, he didn't appear as insane in Elminster in hell as I would have imagined him. Too bad he lost btw, hate to see that ***** simbul rescue Elminster
