Here I go!

Post by Moonbiter »

Imagine, I bought a new computer just because of this game, and I'm minutes away from going at it! I only need to install the patch, aaand... It's gonna be a long-ish night. ;)

So, any advice at all? Anything I should remember? I'm going for a fighter/rogue character, so if anyone has any objections, now's the time. :)

Other than picking locks and setting traps, there aren't a lot of useful rogue skills imo. I think the best character is just a mixture of everything, with a fighter base.

Get at least one magical spell, Freeze, and ramp it up over time. You'll never regret the points spent on it. The thing paralyzes a target, and administers a bit of damage. The paralysis part is the best effect, and it effectively lets you wail away on much more powerful opponents in relative safety.

Focus initially on agility. This is the stat that controls your accuracy of attack, and that of others on you. Get this up to at least 60% for you before starting to work on other stats.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
