I was just wondering if any of the books (excluding tomes and the books for quests) you find are worth anything? Are any of them worth keeping?

No. Unless you want to read them and get the background better, that is.

edit -> also in a later part of the game there will be a book you'll need to read to get a party member back.

Thanks. I try to read them as I come across them, some of them make for some interesting reading. I've already been through the game once so I know about the other book you're talking about.
