What class /should/ Minsc be?
He's not a Ranger, and I'm sick of him gaining useless abilities as one.
The guy is either a Berserker or a Barbarian, but I can't decide which fits him better.
Please help me choose which class to SK Minsc into.

My 2 gold worth
Well, he rocked as a Paladin (Undead Hunter, with true sight as well). I think someone hacked him to Assasin, which would be pretty hilarious.
But actually, I think Ranger is a good choice, just hack his special abilities to..ummm....well...anything useful. Charm animal, forsooth
I think next time I'll give him a real enrage, and maybe mirror image.

I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.
A bunch of people at Bioware used to play RPGs together. When they created BG1 and BG2, they based some of the NPCs on their old pen-and-paper characters. Minsc was one of them. So were Anomen, Bodhi, and Xan, although Xan was originally a cool Monk/Kensai type of character and his new incarnation in BG1 was unrecognizable, if not downright insulting.
This was discussed in a couple of interviews, but I can't find the links to them. Does anyone know where we could find them? Knowing the history of Minsc's character would shed some light on "what he's supposed to be".

[QUOTE=VonDondu]He was always getting his party into trouble with his obnoxious behavior. Imagine how fun it would be to play a character like that in a PnP game with other players.

That's just what I was thinking. Now I'm quite ready to call up some old buddies...
First, however, I'd like to find said interviews.
