Getting Past a Reflection Spell?

Post by Slick Fork »

And yet again, I have another question! I've been having a heck of a time with some of the critters that reflect your magic back on you (Those mounted Reiklings, and Dremora's) Is there a way to remove the reflect spell they have? I tried casting a Dispel 100 points on them but it just came back on me. Thanks for the help on this and all the many other questions I've had!

There's a mod that removes reflect spells completely from the game, if you're interested.

Hmmm, The trouble with enjoying the BG series so much is starting to show through. Addicting and beautiful as Morrowind is, I can't help but to compare it to BG. I'm starting to notice some of the "Oversights" in Morrowind. One of the really well thought out things in the BG series was the balance of magic. For just about every spell, both offensive and defensive, there was an effective counter strategy. I think Morrowind could really use a "Spell Thrust" or "Breach" type spell! Oh well, maybe in Elder Scrolls 4 if there is one in the works!

Just get close and start hacking!

My problem with reflection is that I often don't notice it until I've taken a fair amount of damage from myself.

Nothing's more embarassing than hitting someone with a jink blade and ending up frozen yourself.

If you kow the character can reflect, just use melee weapons.....

The curias of wonderfulness (Forget what it's called, but I got it from an upstairs cabinet in the Tel {something} place where the corpus victims are in the basement.) Did a great job of reflecting.

But, yes. Spell thrust would be good.
A BG Wish spell would be nice too, or that one where you automatically cast the spell once a condition is met.....
Get up off of your apathetic a** and vote!

Would your own reflect spell cause a reflected spell to be reflected again?
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

I see absolutely no problem with killing Helseth. I mean, he tried to kill you not once, but twice. He deserves to die.

Screw magic, or use magic that you have resistance to. That is why those Ebony Arrows of Slaying suck.
We are watching you... scum.
