Regards to your Wisdom comment, IMHO to tamper with dangerous magic that could turn you into a squirrel you have to be a little unwise...</STRONG>

LOL! Cute idea, both of ya. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Fable... interesting view. I think I'll stick with the low wisdom though since I feel it makes more sense to me for a wild mage to be a little crazy. :D

The border between genious and insanity is a slim one. Therefore, giving him high intelligence, but being crazy or wild, just makes me think of a low respect for the magic he's weilding, therefore low wisdom.

But, like I said, you have a valid point and I can see both situations working out from a role playing perspective.
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

@ Craig: The sleeve absorbs the drool.

@ Pebz: I demand a patent!

Back to the serious nature of the discussion. Do you think there is anypoint giving high strength to a mage?

Why Craig? Surely if your mage is needed to carry around heavy kit and everyone elses iventory is full what are you gonna leave behind?

well, considering fighter/mages are an available class, obviously a mage can have great strength. and i take myself as an example. i started off life as a scrawny nerdy kinda guy, but since have developed quite a powerful build (if i do say so myself)
also, remember, a wild mage hasn't had to study as much as a normal mage, so he would probably be more likely to have time to pursue more physical endeavors
I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

One level 2 Strength spell a day gets you Strength 18/50 24/7. Two gets you 18/100. Girdle of Giant Strength gets even more...

With only 75 points to spend, you'd have to make real sacrifices just to get high Strength.

BTW, since we're into roleplaying, a Dex of 18 sounds like the powergaming way to go. Sure, it's good. It's also very uncommon.
