i dont think there are actually elder scrolls that you can get your hands on... its just called the elder scrolls. Maybe its just because I havent come across them, but the only references i have heard in the game to the elder scrolls make them seem like they are in a library in cyrodill or that High Elven island, but then in another reference they said that 'scourge' was in a tower room in the Battlespire, and i found it in tel fyr, but thats a compeltely different story. The elder scrolls are history books from which the tales of tamriel are gotten, and you are living out the history, or at least i am pretty sure thats how it goes. More knowledgable minds in this forum can correct me if I am wrong. Tell me if you find it though!

I don't know, Morrowind is the only one I've played, but my guess would be probably not, since they are kept in the Imperial City right?

Hm

I thought there might be because I was searching through a cheat site, and came across someone saying you could get the elder scroll. His spelling was horrible, and he didn't really describe where you got it. So I had my doubts.

Its a shame that people will do it, but many people post false cheats as a laugh, I stopped using cheats because I was so annoyed about it, a long time ago now.

I know what you mean... There was something in a morrowind walkthrough, where i was looking at potion formulas, and they told me to bound a weapon and hold the triggers down, and i would get an increased weapons level.... only later did i notice that he said 'i am a level six imperial with 196 longsword!!!' he could have at least tried to lie convincingly...

Don't recall any such thing being in Daggerfall, but then again - it has been quite some years ago, since I played it - so .... I guess I could remember wrong. :)

well DM, you said they are in the imperial city, and since the other games have all of tamriel as a travel option, i am gussing you could go to the imperial city
