In the Bodhis' Lair when a person confronts Lassal the first time; what does the pools of blood have to do w/ anything? Even when you go up to fight him if you move over the big pool in the middle nothing happens. Is there anything of significant about these pools.
Thanks, Xanthar
Pools of Blood
If you asked the war elf Elhan for Holy Water to fight Bodhi when you emerged from the Underdark you can pour the water into the many pools to counter her and the other Vampires' natural effects (Speed, regenerative powers, ect).

It will be significant later in the game. It doesn't make any difference when you go there for the first time.

Possible Spoiler
The first time in Bodhi's lair be sure to search the pools of blood. One of them conceals a very handy weapon. The weapon is a legendary item that can be upgraded by the dwaven armorer. He will tell you what other component he needs to make the upgrade.
