SPOILER- Skink-in-Tree's-Shade/Ilunibi

Skink-in-Tree's-Shade in one of his duties say's go to Shal , past Hld Odle (spelling) to kill a Necromancer , this place is in a mud pit , facing a swamp North of the Ruin , there are many swamps though and I can't find a mud pit , where the entrance is . Any help ?? Also Dagoth Gares in Ilunibi I can't see him in Soul's Rattle , I went around and around , but could not see him , is threr a secret that I don't know about . Please help !!! This place can be very hard to find (Shal), but if you use one of the many Morrowind maps that can be found online, its not that bad, with regards to your second question, I read your previous post but never got around to replying, my guess is that if he's just vanished, thats a bug. Coming into Souls Rattle should have triggered dialogue with him, so most likely its a bug and he's not coming back. Somebody here will be able to provide you with the console codes to spawn him, and if the script attached to him doesn't work, to update your journal with the stuff that happens afterwards.

If you haven't been given Caius' quest, Gares won't show up. If you've been given the quest, try exiting and then re-entering, that sometimes works. If all else fails, bring up the console and type

placeatpc "dagoth gares" 1,1,1

That will place him right on top of you, so kill him and you should be fine.

There are a few good map sites out there. This is the one I use. If you absolutely can't find Shal, just pull up the console and type

coc "shal"

You'll be teleported to just inside the entrance.

Shal/Ilunibi

Thanks to those that offered help , I found Shal and did my work there . Ilunibi problem was that for some reason I went on the wrong save and back tracked a little , so I thought I saw Calius ( Balmora) but needed to go back and get the journal update again .
