Do I get a cookie or something?

I hit the falling guy Tahriel outside Seeyda Neen (sp?) with a targeted slowfall spell and he lived. So I walked up to him and after I saved his LIFE he's like, "I don't want to talk about it." And my only option is goodbye. So did I waste my time or is gonna teach me to jump to hell and back?

LOL! Actually, his response is perfectly in character: he's totally mortified and embarassed by being caught in such a stupid error! You didn't get the results you wanted, but I'm glad Bethsoft used it to stay true to character and offer some mordant humor on human nature. :D

On a random yet related sidenote....

FEEL THE CAROLINA-HATE!

Not sure why Bethesda has such a problem with UNC, but the Eltonbrand message and the obvious stupidity of "Tarhiel" is rather amusing.

I recall some Tarheel jokes when I went to visit 'em in Maryland for my first interview, a year or so before the release of the original ES1. I believe one of the development team described himself as "a recovering North Carolinian." :D
