Morrowind pop quiz

Post by HiRo11er »

So I've been thinking about posting this thread for a while now, but due to work, bad timing & lousy internet access I've been all but a no-show in these forums the last few weeks. Still, I think it would be fun to play some trivia, and the first person to post the correct answers for all posted questions receives the right to brag for one paragraph in a post, or something like it... :)

Note: You might need one of the expansions to be able to answer all of the questions... ;)

The first batch is as follows...

A creature from Elsweyr decides to make a fashion statement & wear a hat. Can this be?

She now lives alone after her legionnaire husband died. She's Dunmer, but she grew up in Cyrodill. She belongs to the imperial cult, and therefore does not receive any benefits from the temple. You're likely to meet her first early on... Who is she?

What is the one single individual living creature that will not retaliate if struck?

There's one point in the game where you have the option of going fishing. What's the secret destination you'll end up at?

I have a few more brewing, but I'll need some time to get the right wording in.. Meanwhile, feel free to make stabs at the answers, and also throw in brain teasers of your own. After all, anyone can be subject to a pop quiz... :)

PS: I am soooo envious of everyone that's a part of the new NPC project. As soon as I am able I will check it out, and even throw in input of my own. It might very well be the first mod I install! :)

(GOD I CANT REMEMBER HER NAME!! she got arrested though, so you might know her name now.)

I'm gonna take a stab at all but the third one. I have no clue what doesn't retaliate when struck. But I think the first answer is "M'aiq the Liar", the second answer is "Widow Vabdas", and Wopps, that monastery you were talking about, that's Holamayan. But what the heck is it that doesn't retaliate?
I've got some trivia. In Maar Gan, many of the pre-less generic mod characters talk about a female smuggler who will "never stop smuggling". What is her name, and in what cavern can she be found?
Also, where can you find lots of grand soul gems? Well, that may not really be trivia... I just need to know because I'm running out... heh heh...

A creature from Elsweyr decides to make a fashion statement & wear a hat. Can this be?

You mean, a Kahjiit? If the hat has holes in it for the ears, I suppose. Otherwise, no.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

No, I'm telling you, M'Aiq the liar has a hat on! You don't believe me? He really does! It's extremely goofy looking, too....

Beornica was dead on with the Lying Khajit, while Wopps was right about going fishing (as was most others, too) About the creature that doesn´t attack, I should have opinted out that I an talking about a single individual; not a type of creature. (Of course I forgot about the KQ!) Hint: It´s from an expansion...

Nobodys answered the one about the widow yet though... Note, even if you meet her early on, you won´t get all that personal info until a much later quest...

Sorry about being crazy slow with posting, but this is actually the first time I´ve been online since I posted this thread. New computer is on its way however! :)

There are still two unanswered questions here... I´ll keep on hinting if nobody gets them by the next time I´m here. ;)

If its from an expansion, then my guess is The Good Beast.

:D
I never intended for these questions to be this hard, but I guess the two ones left are fairly tough...

More hints: The creature that doesn't retaliate can be found somewhere on Solstheim, and I believe quite a few of you have encountered this person... (I have not tried to attack the good beast, so I wouldn't know if it retaliates)

The widow is tough, but she can be found within 5 minutes of starting the game. Of course, you don't find out her life story unless you are truly a Robin Hood kinda guy (or gal)...

;)

Anyone getting warmer yet?

Krish/Nish whatever that nasty little Rickling is called. Or else the Skaal dude when you feed him to the wolves, he just stands there and takes it.

The widow is the tax collector's wife in Seyda Neen, in the lighthouse.
