Problem with Charm

Post by Aust »

My character is an enemy (has a red circle around him) by default. I got this by having a Sirine first charm him, and then charming him back to my side. So I have to charm him all the time in order to keep him with a green circle around him. No problem there, the charm effect that the nymph cloak has is long enough for this not to be annoying, but the problem doesn't go away when I import my character to SoA! I've tried charming him with enemies, then again with my own characters, but nothing seems to remove the effect. I've also tried to remove the problem by opening and editing/saving my character with Gatekeeper, Shadowkeeper and BG2, but so far I haven't been able to "cure" him. What to do?

The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

The problem can be fixed with Shadowkeeper by editing the "Enemy/Ally"-field. With my character it was "Evilcutoff", I changed it to "Pc" and that seemed to work.

That's good to know.
BTW, I really laughed out loud when I read your post, about how you went through the entire gaming charming your char. Talk about dedication! ;)
