The Box (Spoiler)

Post by EtherSeraph »

Donna suppose anybody out there knows what purpose that little box you get from the Rodian on Korriban serves? I know there is that hammerhead fish guy in the box and you gotta riddle your way out of the place, but is there any more purpose to the box then a quick mindless riddle contest and couple thousand credits from the Slug you sell the box to? Any possible Story outcomes from messing with it or what not? If not its kinda a waste that could have been used to put a bit more story in or another quest that actually nets you something in the end. *shrugs* Either way, thats my 20 credits and I want change damn it!!!

Nope, nothing more.
I think that's a quest that didnt make it into the game.

It feels like it was intended as a sidequest, but was never completed. I've made an extra round through the elder-rakatan settlement, talked some more to the computers, etc... Nothing.

The thing just screams for you to find a way to get the poor fella out (LS), or put the box to some devious use for DS points.

It appears the Hutt on Tatooine is aware of this too... From a LS point of view it would be wrong to deliver it to him, I think.

You get no lightside nor darkside points for delivering it. You do get experience points, however, which is good enough for me. What I want to know is, if you choose not to deliver it, can you hand it over to the Elder Rakata when you get sucked on to their planet? I was going to try but I never got around to it.
