HELP, Balors Vorpal Sword !!!
When I slay the BALOR I, get his elemental gem but his Vorpal Sword is not there. Killed him 3 times sword is never there, veteran player wants that sword bad!!! If u can help u can E-mail me at captshub@charter.net. Help a fellow slayer out! Shub Niggurath, SAVIOR TO SOME, FOLLOWER OF NONE!!!!!

That truely is the most powerful weapon in the game if in the hands of someone with whirlwind attack or mighty cleave... Anyway, the item is unlootable - no matter how you kill him - The item is marked unlootable in the protos.tab file. The only way to get it without editing the protos.tab is if you edited it into your start inventory file.
btw... I like it leaving with Balor when he leaves - keeps it in line with dnd rules as when you kill a named demon like 'Balor' on any plane but his home plane (the abyss), he's not entirely dead, you've really just banished him from the plane you're on.
