is this some kind of bug?

ok I'm in the elven city sundellasar(sp) and I have all 3 parts needed to summon the avatar but when I place them in the statue in the center of the room in the temple nothing happens at all..is there someway I activate this? or should it just happen automatically? because nothing happens when I place them in there

Are you sure you placed the right items? it should be these three items: Talisman of Rillifane, the Moonblade, and the Goblet of life.

I'm having the same problem. I solved a puzzle for the Talisman, picked up the Moonblade off of a suicide defender, and got the cup from the dragon. But when I put in on the big empty space in the middle of the room (I guess that's the statue) nothing happens.

I'm stuck here big-time. I think I'll need to start over (or download a fix). This time I'll try Aeire as a love interest -- too many bugs in Jaheira.
