Quivering Palm

Post by sp8472 »

Is quivering palm supposed to work if it hits on major bosses? I have seen it work on dragons. I have also seen the pink 'you hit the enemy with quivering palm thing' but the enemy did not die. This happened with the prince of earth and the demi-gorgon. This is NOT a save vs. spell against quivering palm. That happens too but I clearly saw that the enemy was hit with it, i.e. they failed the save. Any thoughts?

Some ememies are immune to intant-kill things. Such as q. p. and the Vorpal sword.

There is a spell called death ward. I have seen some enemies cast it, and some of the monsters have that affect built in. It is only fair that the Prince of Demons be immune to finger of death :) , or other cheesy effects.

What about immunity to Imprisonment? Not that I would use it when I get to TOB. But just wondering.
Yin and Yang balance. There is one within the other. No Difference in Reality. What do you experience?

I would think so as well. They can just give him the 'enrage' ability, which I believe grants immunity to that. I never used that spell, and never will...its cheesy, plus, you dont get the cool items that most of the tough characters drop :)

Inherent immunity to Imprisonment does indeed exist. I've seen it in some game files. Imoen and all creatures in SoA with a minimum of 1 Hit Point have it. It seems pretty rare, and it doesn't appear as if any regular enemy (with a red circle) has it. Perhaps things are different in ToB.
