Dual Class Fighter

Post by Phoenix »

Can anyone recommend a good dual class for a straight fighter? I would like to replace my current fighter with a good dual or multi-class.

Check out the topics with 'Best multi/Dualclass combination' etc.

but basicly a couple of good choices.

Fighter 9th => Mage (Kensai?)
Fighter 8th / 9th => Cleric (berserker)
Fighter 9th / 13th => Druid (kit ...?)

I've always thought that the Fighter 13th => Druid is a good combo as you can reach 14th (the maximum) level as a druid with awesome fighting abilities. The only downside of the combo is that it pretty much restricts your weapon choices. Only conciderable ones for dualwielders are Scimitars & Clubs - and there are no great scimitars or clubs in the game. (a few good ones though).

Keep in mind that you haveto have atleast 15 in prime requisites of first class & 17 in prime requisites of the second class. When you've dualclassed from 13th level fighter and you reach 14th level as a druid use 'Belm' & 'Rashad's Talon' and you've got 4½ attacks / round ... with a rather good thac0. And since the druid part doesn't restrict what armor you can wear you can have AC of ~-15 ... Image
