Spell sequencer issue

Aerie can no longer use the spell sequencer line... her "use special ability" star is greyed out, even though she has sequences memmed (I can see 'em using SK under the "Affects" tab). She cannot cast more sequences, of course.

Deleting the sequences using SK allows her to recast the spells, and they show up in the special ability section again (with a *2* count, tho), but zoning crashes the game.

If they have a sequencer memorized, it should appear on their portrait.

*** EDITED ***It DOES appear on her portrait (initial reply indicated it did not). As a note - she *did* have sequences memorized and unused - then at some point they just vanished from useability (tho as mentioned, SK shows the spells still "stored up"). I only had 2 copies of "spell trigger", for my toon and Imoen, but in 30K exp I might make one, mem it and see what shows up

This bug also happened to me, and other people too ( search this forum its in there somewhere)

My solution was to use shadowkeeper: Give Aerie a couple of basic traps in her special abilities (as if she was a thief). You will never use these traps, and you can pretend they dont exist ... but they will prevent her special abilities button from being greyed out. I tried other ways to beat this VERY ANNOYING bug. In the end, the traps was the best solution.

btw - forget about relearning the spell. the bug will come back.

YI never thought of that! Well, once she hit 16th level, I made her a spell trigger scroll, and all was OK. I even had the discipline to erase the spell afterwards

. Now if I can only find a 3rd copy of it...
