Multiplayer party question

Post by ImperialMarshal »

On my 4th time through BG2, I decided to make a 5 char party from scratch in multiplayer. My main char is a kensai/mage, and he just got to the dual-class point.

My problem is: I want to kick everyone out of the party temporarily so that my PC can learn all those scrolls and get quick exp, but when I kick them out, they apparently disappear. How can I temporarily get just 1 char, then go back to having all 5? I have a feeling I'm supposed to somehow import the char to a different game, but I really don't understand the whole import system.

On a related issue, is there any way just to import the whole party into singleplayer? I'm tired of going through character arbitration every time I load a game.

get a bit of money together, then kill all of them. Then resurrect them when you want with a nearby temple. Though like i say might cost a lot

Import/Export

Well from my point of view, you have to do the export thing. While in a game, go to the character record page. Press Export, and export all of you're chars.
Then go to the multiplayer screen , and press the "modify characters" button. Then delete all you're chars except for the kensai/mage. Click Done, and memorize as many spells as you want. Then go to the Multiplayer screen and press modify char. and create the characters. While in the character creation screen press the Import button and import you characters.
Pretty annoying, but i think its the only solution

Hell man, just CLUA in the experience. It's not like you aren't cheating anyways by kicking everyone out so you can read scrolls for insta-leveling.

If you want to import ur multiplayer party into SP, go into the BG2 folder and copy ur MP save from the MP save folder and put it into the save folder. By the way if u do this and kick out a multi character u cant get him back.
