City Gates (mild spoiler)

This certainly isn't news but some of you may not have seen this before. I returned to the city gates areain Athkatla a second time. This is an area I only visit the required one time when leaving Athkatla for the first time. On my second visit there was a merchant being harassed. I helped him out and he offers to sell you stuff. Turns out, he's got 3 lower resistance scrolls. I've always found these difficult to come by, so I was psyched to find this. Unfortunately, I was broke, and he will only sell to you once so I missed out.

He used to appear once or twice for me, and he got not ubber, but cool merchandise. I have not noticed change on the prices, but somethings he carry are just nice, specially for a solo player with no ubber weapons yet.

wait, if you egg the thief on he doesn't have the nerve to actually go through with the mugging and will simply walk away. The merchant I THINK will stay there and so you can buy from him from then on.
Also if you just do nothing the thief will steal (I think) and you still should be able to buy from the merchant without him going away, it's only when you rescue him that he leaves
So be that a lesson, burn, pillage, loot, and people will still be there for you to do it again!
