Poll:Best Pole playing Class
Just choose which class is the best for role-playing (not most effective) in the poll and select a kit then give reasons.

I would have to say a bounty hunter (for special traps)... mainly because they are so cool... I mean lay some traps, hide in shadows backstab to get their attention, then make run into the traps... funny way to kill people

I voted for the Paladin and here's why :
S
P
O
I
L
E
R
In BG2, there's alot of quest adapted for Paladins : Freeing a kidnapped woman, resolving a series of crime done by a skinner-murderer, helping towns with their problems, Rescuing people, etc. There's alot of quests for GOOD characters, so I think it'll be easier to Roleplay with a good character. Alots of NPCs are Good anyway, so doing an "Honor-Based" party would be a nice idea.
Paladin
Keldorn
Anomen
Minsc?
Imoen?
Aerie?

I'd take Jaheira over Anomen (since a true good player wouldn't abandon an old friend), but that's another discussion and shouldn't be argued here.
In terms of roleplaying for the game, I look back to BG1. It only makes sense to me that your PC could be a wizard/sorceror, a rogue (pure thief), or a fighter (possibly becoming a ranger later on, with the friendship of Jaheira and Khalid). For me, those are the only classes that make sense to me growing up in Candlekeep. Your character would be of good or neutral alignment, too. The NPCs you travelled with inbetween the games were Minsc (CG), Imoen (NG), and Jaheira (TN), with Dynaheir and Khalid there too, but killed by Irenicus.
That's just my reasoning though.

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

Well as a cleric u could have learned from that Ogma guy. And seeing as u choose a kit in BG2 u could have developed those abilities along the way (eg. Wizard Slayer got pissed off with Shandlar and Archer got good with bows) The ones i cant explain r Druid cuz Candlekeeps enclosedv and Paladin cuz whod ya learn from? Though I suppose this is gettin into BG 1

you don't have to have a sire for paladinhood. maybe the PC read a book and wanted to strive to be one of these famous paladins?
the only way i would justify a druid is a human dual class. after travelling with Jaheira for so long and learning from her (as a maternal influence), CHARNAME devotes himself to druidism
