This is NOT a spoiler

Post by beornica »

Hey - I was just wondering if there is anybody who comes into this forum who, when they see a spoiler warning, steer clear. I know I sure don't. Anybody here a puritan? Just curious.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!

You have got to be kidding me... I come into this place for spoilers! its what its for really... I mean I dont go looking for spoilers, especially main quest ones, but i dont lose much enjoyment fro knowing what comes next.

Generally speaking, then I usually stay away from spoilers that involves things I've not yet reached in my own game(s).
However -I read most spoilers when it is concerning something I've already passed in the game.

It's hard to spoil such an open-ended rpg.

Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Since I haven't really played Bloodmoon or Tribunal, I try to avoid reading things about them, just because I'd like them to play out somewhat on their own. However, I typically am searching for spoilers on forums, but they are relevant to quests that I am stuck on, not ones far down the line that may spoil some of the story twists. For example, if I had just gotten the game, I wouldn't want to know that there's a lot of backstabbing in the Telvanni House.

But you're right for the most part. Forums are a good place for help when you're stuck or for intersting insights into the game. I would never have realized that you can become a vampire in the game because they just attack on sight and I'd cure diseases immediately afterward. .

Anyway, other reasons to go on forums are to find intersting new ways to play the game, or configure better character classes without knowing explicit spoiling things in the game. Maybe it's okay to know that mysticism is good for its teleportation, but not that a certain quest requires it.

Just me..

I just try to stay away from the forums if I just bought a game. Once I've gone through it atleast once, THEN I come to the forums for the spoilers.

Spoilers... don't really spoil anything for me. I mean, if games were black and white, then I might worry about finding out the end. Like, movies, I don't necessarily like hearing the end of. But games aren't like movies. In games, you choose what you do, and Morrowind, everyone pretty much knows what's going to happen. My mind pretty much doesn't even see the "Spoiler" warnings. Anyways, I've done so much in Morrowind already there isn't really anything left to spoil. :) I just come here for the coffee.
