Twi'lek with a Datapad on Tatooine (SPOILERS)

Post by Chahk »

Once on Tatooine I was walking on the streets when a Twi'lek approached me and said that he found a datapad that I had dropped. I replied that it's not mine. After a few tries to convince me to accept it and me refusing each time (playing as a Light Side character I'd never take what's not mine), he gave up and walked off never to be seen again.

I've finished the game since then but this encounter keeps dawning on me. Did I miss some side-quest because of this? Who is that fella and what's on that datapad? Spoilers encouraged :)

Yes, this does involve a sidequest--Hulas', on Manaan. He's one of the leaders of an ancient organization of assassins who seek to keep the universe nice and balanced for their own interests. He knows about you, and he wants to give you a chance to join (or so he claims). Any quests of his that you do net you DSPs, even if they do supposedly correct injustices, and they also bring you a nice little reward.

Ultimately, you do find out that Hulas was a traitor to his own organization, and used you as a tool to remove his rivals. However, you can face him and his pals down in battle, win, and get some decent loot out of it.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Well, that's a load off my mind. I guess my LS character didn't miss out by not doing this quest.

Thanks so much for the info.

The Genoharadan quest has a few really good items. My ending guy usually ends up with the Genoharadan visor.

I liked the quests for Hulas, 'cause mt character was a scoundrel, and she'd gone way to LS (I wanted her to be somewhere near the middle and she was up in the sky), so I got some DS points for her.
I don't have a sig, because when I can't come up with a good one I hate sigs.
