How am i suppost to fight 6 dark jedi!!! before that screen shot i had already killed 2, once they all come its impossible, they just drain me, and freeze me! Any suggestions? Yes you select it on the powers menu so you actually have the power (duh! lol)
Then you select it from the defensive powers menu, and then it's active giving you increased resistance to FP for a short length of time...hopefully when it's worn off you have won the fight.
If it's a long fight then just recast it.

See I know how to use it :p

Man, I cleared out the star forge. It pays to be bad, Bastila's powers could help you a bunch there. Also, HK-47 helps a ton, he can't be FP'ed, he can repair much faster than they can kill him, and the flamethrower nails jedi real quick.

I think the whole starforge is rather cheesy.
Instead of making the game and enemies more difficult, they just throw an seemingly endless amount against you. A common game tactic unfortunally.

But there are some character combinations that make life easier. I had Canderous with me, with dual vibo-swords of some name (one of them was that poisoning blade) and he just hacked and slashed his way through them all. I hardly had to kill any myself :D

All the suggestions seem to be for dark.

If you're light (like me ;) ) then:
- Keep valor active all the time just keep recasting it. Assuming you have master valor that's +5 to all stats.
- Keep seed on. Again assuming you have master Speed you can get more defence and more attacks per round. (this helps if you're dark too....afterall it is a neutral power)
- If you have force armor use that, a +6 to defence and saves is great, if you combine it with the bonuses of valor and speed your character is pretty dayam buff!
- Make sure you cast force resistance, it helps oh so much not to be affected by force powers.
- If you have Wave and/or Stasis field then keep casting those too
(NOTE: the above do require you to be wearing robes. Quel Droma robes or Star forge robes are my choice. The above will also drain your force bar VERY fast so be sure to stop after you've cleared out an area to let your force bar recharge)
- Be sure to use the Solari crystal in your lightsaber (the upari is a good choice for the other slot, and then one of the 2 power crystals in the colour slot)
- If your health gets low, use a Life-support kit. They heal way more that heal does if you have alot.
- Bring Jolee and Juhani with you. They are jedi and will do much better than other party members.
- Have Jolee always casting force powers, preferably offensive ones like lightning and death field.

Hope this helps you a bit.

I disagree; that is a personal choice - I had Canderous with me last time through, and I'd not trade him for any jedi. He was devestating.

I agree with Xandax, taking the Jedi with you is a personal preference. I, personally, do take them, only because of their ability to use the force. I use them to heal me, 'cause I hate using medpacs. But I usually get the powers of Force Push, Force Whirlwind, and finally Force Wave. Force Wave is by far my favorite power. I can kill a whole army load of dudes if they're in range. They get knocked over and then knocked unconscious for a bit, and all the while my Jedi are attacking them. Anyways, I'm sure you already knew this. But if you do take your Jedi with you, it really does make a difference what crystals you put in the hilts of their lightsabers. And I concur with MalaksBane, where is the rest of your party?
I'm an xboxer.

You're right, it's personal preference, but I'd rather have Jedi who can heal me and use force powers than a regular person who can't. If we think of lightsabers as "swords" (which in essence they are) you really only have force powers seperating the non-Jedi/Jedi. So would rather have those extra powers to cast or not.

You could argue that Jedi won't (or are unikely to) be equipped with blasters. So I guess if you love having blaster users you could do that. Though all the jedi you face are likely to mearly block the bullets.
Of course a nice gun with ion damage will help against those droids. Then again you could just put the "anti-droid" crystals in a lightsaber and use those when against the droids and then an upari+solari one against the dark jedi, just like you'd switch a blaster according to your enemy.

Whatever floats your boat! ;)

Well - as mentioned I had Canderous with dual vibo-blades and beefed up strenght, and he killed much more then Juhani did, and faster also.
Sure Jedis can use force powers, but you are a jedi also, and thus I think 3 force users are over the top ... you need somebody to kill also.
had a game where I ran with Jolee and Juhani, and Jorlee kept going down and Juhani on occasions also, and I had to wait around in cleared locations to regenerate force powers because I had to use heal and speed often.
I rarely had any pausing my last time through with Canderous, and in fact I completed the Star Forge withouth any problems at all, no areas and enemies were to hard. (I didn't even turn off the turrents, because canderous wacked them down faster then I could get to the computers)
Besides - I had more then plenty of medi-kits of all forms to survive withouth a 3rd heal.

Brute force can overcome much difficulties, and I was truely amazed at how much damage Canderous did.
I'll never go away from Canderous again unless I play a game where my jedi uses vibo-blades and heavy armour. (which will be the next one if I ever feel like playing it again).

Or, you could just stealth your way past most enemies (maybe have some Party Members engage them and go past) and open the doors without ever swinging a lightsaber, vibroblade, or pulling a blaster.

You can also equip your character with the green belt, I don't remember it's name.. It blocks any mind-affecting Force Powers.. You get some of the remains of some of the first Dark Jedi you kill on the Star Forge. And where's the rest of your party?
I don't have a sig, because when I can't come up with a good one I hate sigs.

i can run through the star forge without even coming close to dying if i keep the difficulty on medium...

use the "+all saves'" gear (mask, gloves and belt), dual lightsabers, master speed and force wave. for companions i use the two other jedi (light side ending) or bastila and canderous (dark side). just keep hammering away with force wave and flurry, but be methodical. the less time you spend running from an enemy on one side of the ramp to one on the other side, the better. btw, i dont ever use force resistance and i save about 95% against force powers. oh, the thermal dets are a another way to spice things up a bit....aim for the middle of the group, toss and the force wave.
if that doesnt work for you, bring plenty of life support packs.
