How do I import a character from Baldurs Gate 2 to NWN? I tried almost everything!

There are many reasons why you can't. As Noober mentions the ruleset have changed during development, and thus characters aren't compatible anymore.
Besides - Baldur's Gate 2 is years before Neverwinter Nights, when Neverwinter Nights were early in development, so it was very optimistic for Bioware to write that statement (or stupid in my oppinion
), because when "they" say something is possible years before a game comes out, it is very likely that things change.
But basically, don't trust statements made about games which is written before that game is finished. Even if it is written in another games load-scenes.
