Keldorn Dual Wield or Carsomy

Post by Pho3nix »

Should i use the carsomyr +5 or the purifier +4 and crom faeyr.
I know that carsomyr gives a great magic bonus but purifier also gives a magic bonus and i will get 25 str.

Plz reply but plz dont reply it depends on how you play the game, or every budy has theyr own taste make your own decisions ok.

definately use Carsomyr..

1. You find it MUCH earlier than Crom and Puri.
2. Any other character can use the Crom Faeyr
3. Dont waste Carso

Yeah, keep Carsomyr for yourself, and give Crom to someone else in your party.

You can still boost your strength to good levels with girdles anyway.

I think it depends on Keldorn's mission. Sometimes, I would give him Foebane in main/Purifier in offhand and send him out to slay hundreds of add-on monsters - the larloch's minor drain with easy-to-hit monsters meant that I didn't really have to pay attention to him

Right, you can use Carso normally, but swith to Foebane-Purifier at times, or other combos as you see fit.

Weapons

Well im playing multiplayer over the internet and we have 2 players each.
My main character is a kensai/mage using the fury and daerkorts blade he is using imoen without special weapons and he will use foa and sentinael shield so keldorn is the only one who can use crom faeyr.

I'm the 2nd player :D

I have Jan (And will take Imoen) and a Berserker/Cleric

Berserker/Cleric will take FoA and Sentinel +4 -> Shield of the Order +4
Imoen will take Staff of Magi +5 + Gensen Short Bow

Pho3nix have a Kensai/Mage and Keldorn

Kensai/Mage is dual-wielding Celestial Fury and Dak'kon's Zerth Blade.
Keldorn ... we don't know. Casomyr or Purifier/CF or any other powerful combo.

Probably Keldorn with crom and purifier. However I'd suggest keeping carsomyr in your inventory when battling some high level wizards, instead of taking time for breach secret word etc. Just my oponion.

i distribute two handed weapons to minsc, keldorn, etc..anyone who is also going to use a ranged weapon, like crossbows and long bows. its easy to switch.

crom off and a powerful weapon on hand, i give to korgan, who sucks at ranged anyway, or kensai mage...those guys are meelee all the time anyway. :D

the whole thing yall are missin is that Keldorn is proficient with two handed swords and not with hammers or two weapon fighting. so it will be a lot later before he can even duel wield effectivly
